With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

Heats fine, controls lacking
The most important function of a microwave is to heat things, and as far as that goes, this functions fine. But they designed the controls as annoyingly as possible:
1) There is no "quick-on" feature, so if you want to microwave something for 2:00, the fewest key punches is 5! to get it started.
2) Once your food is done, it will not just beep and leave you in peace, it will continue beeping every thirty seconds or so to make sure you don't forget it. Granted this might be nice for someone who is in the habit of forgetting things in the microwave, but I am not and I like to do other things and not be called back and interrupted by inanimate objects.
3) Weirdly, when you open the door after heating something, it beeps loudly. I cannot imagine what possible function this beep could have other than to try to irritate the user.
So maybe these things aren't a big deal to you but they suggest to me a lack of thought about the customer's experience by the people at Haier...
