Beautiful trim for the Panasonic NN-SD997S 2.2 cuft Microwave
Great trim piece. Your cabinet opening must be exactly as specified or you will need to trim wood or tack in extra wood to get it exactly the opening so the trim will attach to the tabs correctly.
Why so costly? This is not only the trim but a metal tray that centers the microwave in the opening and also a vent that attaches to the microwave and directs the steam from the side of the microwave to the front of the trim piece.
It gives the microwave a real finished look.

Disappointing trim for the Panasonic NN-SD982S 2.2 Cu Ft Microwave
Didn't fit
It didn't fit my space, so I returned it. However, build quality was good and it would have looked nice if the space would have worked.
